Q. What happens to the vehicle status when I sell a vehicle?
A. When you Process a Deal as Sold, the system will automatically mark the vehicle as sold. If your setting "Days to Keep Sold Inventory Active" is set to 0, then it will immediately remove the vehicle from the website. Otherwise, the vehicle will stay on the website for that many days and then automatically be removed.
In other words, you don't have to change the vehicle status manually every time you sell a vehicle!
Q. My vehicle is set to active, but I don't see it on my marketing sites. What's going on?
A. There could be a number of reasons why your vehicle isn't appearing on your marketing sites, such as:
Wait 24 hours to make sure there isn't a delay in the feed.
Contact the marketing website to make sure they're accepting the dealr.cloud feed
The marketing website hasn't uploaded the most recent inventory file.
If all of the above checks out, contact us with the chat feature and we'll look into the issue!
Confirm the Third-Party Marketing Site Set-Up
You need to make sure that your dealr.cloud account is set-up with the third-party marketing site in question. If you're unsure, please contact us at dealr.cloud and we'll confirm with you if we have the feed set up.
Once you've confirmed that the marketing site is set-up with dealr.cloud, you'll need to make sure that this third-party site is accepting our inventory feed. If you haven't already done this, contact them via email or phone and confirm that they're accepting our inventory feed at dealr.cloud or Dealr, Inc.
Sending your Inventory to Third-Party Marketing Sites
To advertise your inventory through dealr.cloud, you need to ensure first that your vehicle is set to "Active".
Setting your vehicle to "Active" will ensure the following:
Sent to your dealr.cloud website: immediately (sometimes takes up to 15 minutes)
Sent to your other marketing sites: will be sent out in the next feed (3-24 hours depending on the provider)
Taking Vehicles Off Third-Party Marketing Sites
To remove vehicles from your dealr.cloud website and marketing websites, you need to mark the vehicle as "Inactive".
Keep on Website but Not Marketing Sites
If you want to keep your vehicle on your dealr.cloud website but remove it from your marketing sites, you want to do the following:
Click on the secret circle next to Status
Click on the "Don't Export" checkbox
