It is important that you update the dealer information in your dealer profile as one of your first steps in setting up your dealr.cloud system. Your dealer profile includes information like your dealership name, address, phone number, dealer number, sales tax number, logo, etc. Learn how to update all of your basic dealer information and upload a logo below.

Edit Your Dealer Profile

  1. Go to "Manage" > "Settings" > "General"

2. Update all information in sections 1-5 in the diagram below. For a quick reference see the guide below. 

  1. Tax Rate: This is your state tax rate. In Colorado, this will autofill with 2.9%.

  2. Basic Information: If you don't know how to fill this out, I can't help you. Just make sure you enter your Dealer Number in correctly as it will reflect in all forms. 

  3. State Sales Tax #: This is your state sales tax number that you can find on your sales tax receipt.

  4. City Tax ID: This is a field you will only fill out if the city in which you operate self-collects their city tax. You can find it on your city sales tax receipt. For more information on tax codes, read THIS article. 

  5. Federal Tax ID: This is your Federal Tax ID Number, otherwise known as your Employer Identification Number or EIN is the unique nine-digit number assigned by the Internal Revenue Service to business entities operating in the United States.

  6. Leave This Section Blank! This information must be generated by dealr.cloud. 

  1. In the same General information screen, scroll down to find the section titled "PDF Forms Header Logo."

  2. Click into the gray box to select a file stored on your computer or drag and drop a file into the gray box to upload your logo. For best results, upload your logo in a PNG or JPEG file format. 

  3. Don't forget to click save!

Edit Dealer-Specific Information

Continue to edit all of your dealership information by clicking into each of the pages listed under "General Settings" (General, Service, Leads, Inventory, Deals, Flags, Credit Reports, Vehicle History Reports, etc).

This information includes items such as lead tasks and auto-responders, inventory pack amount, dealer handling fees, title fees, other deal related fees, and any other dealer settings.

Your onboarding and training calls will cover any of these settings you are unsure about or haven't filled in. Feel free to skip any areas you are unclear about.
