Working with Appraisals
Appraisals allow you to evaluate vehicles and determine their value.
Viewing Appraisals
To view all appraisals, click Appraisals in the navigation sidebar. All the completed appraisals will be shown here.
Finding Appraisals
Some notable searching and filtering options:
- Vehicle or VIN
- Search by the year/make/model or any part of the VIN
- Appraiser
We recommend reading through Finding Items to familiarize yourself with searching and filtering.
Creating Appraisals
Manually
To create an appraisal, simply click New Appraisal on the sidebar.
From VIN
Enter in your VIN and the year, make, and model will decode, allowing you to appraise the vehicle on the right-hand side of the screen.
Year / Make / Model
You can also create an appraisal using the year, make, and model of the vehicle.
From Mobile App
Creating an appraisal on the mobile app is easy! Learn how here.
Quick Appraisal Tool
The quick appraisal tool finds vehicles that can be appraised on any webpage you're looking at and embeds a button for you to click to create a new appraisal with.
Market Data
Market data is the magic behind the appraisals platform. By scraping over 4 million data points every day, we're able to surface market normalized evaluations on vehicles you appraise.
Other Valuation Options
Convert to Inventory
Once you've completed your appraisal and have purchased the vehicle, you can Convert to Inventory to stock the vehicle in and start advertising it.
