The CARFAX integration enables you to view and pull CARFAX vehicle reports from your inventory, deals, service tickets, evaluations, and your website.
You need to enable the CARFAX integration by first navigating to Manage > Settings > General >Vehicle History Reports.
Click on the Enable CARFAX Reports checkbox and then click save.
After enabling CARFAX in your General Settings, you need to navigate to any Inventory Unit, where you should now see a Connect CARFAX button on the right-hand side of the screen.
Next, you need to select "Connect CARFAX." A new window will open up and you will log in to CARFAX with your Standard CARFAX credentials.
You can only sync your CARFAX account on the web browser. This will not work on the mobile application
Once you connect, you will be redirected to the individual inventory page with CARFAX enabled!
It can take anywhere between 48-72 hours for the CARFAX account to sync with the platform.
If there is an unsuccessful connection, please first verify that your login information is correct by navigating directly to your CARFAX dealer portal and logging in there. If it still does not connect, please contact CARFAX support at 855-845-5733.
