Working with Inventory
Inventory is where you manage your advertised and in-progress vehicles.

Viewing Inventory
To view your inventory, click Inventory in the sidebar.
Searching Inventory
Some notable searching and filtering options:
- Status
- All
- Current (Includes Active and Inactive)
- Active
- Inactive
- Recently Sold (Sale date in last 30 days)
- Year, Make, Model
- VIN
- Stock Number
We recommend reading through Finding Items to familiarize yourself with searching and filtering.
If you search by the exact Stock Number, a result will return regardless of the other filters. Additionally, if you hit enter after typing in the stock number and there's exactly one result, the inventory will automatically be opened.
Creating Inventory
Manually
The most common way to create inventory is manually. Click New Vehicle on the sidebar and enter the vehicle information.
There are no required fields, but we recommend that you fill in the following values before creating inventory:
- VIN
- Be sure to select the Decode String if it is highlighted red.
- Year, Make, Model
- Odometer
- Vehicle Type
- State Body Type/Code
- Transmission
- Engine
- Colors
- Current Price (Advertised Price)
- In Date
- Stock #
From a Trade-In
The inventory will automatically be created when you process as sold.
From the Mobile App
Inventory can also be created via the Mobile App with the VIN Decoder. In the Mobile App, navigate to the black toolbar and select Inventory and then New Vehicle.
This will then open the Vehicle Info page where you'll have the ability to scan the VIN barcode located in the vehicle. In order to access the VIN Scanner, select the purple button located in the top-right corner of the screen.
This will open up the VIN Scanner. Here, you'll want to align the box you see on the screen with the VIN sticker.
Once the Vin Scanner is capable of reading your VIN, it'll copy that information into the mobile app and populate the Vehicle Info with the data encoded in the VIN. After you've confirmed the vehicle's data, you can create the inventory by selecting Create in the top-right corner of the screen.
Details
The Details tab allows you to modify advertising statuses, update advertising information, and more.
Pricing
The Pricing tab shows you market data and helps you price your vehicles competitively.
Vehicle
The Vehicle tab is where you can view and modify detailed vehicle information.
Photos
The Photos tab is where you can upload, reorder, and edit photos.
Costs
The Costs tab is where you can add, edit, and delete costs and floor plans on a vehicle.
