Working with Deals

A deal allows you to create and build a structure for you to sell your cars. It allows you to print paperwork, track who owes you money, and track your profitability on a car sale.

Viewing Deals

To view all deals, click Deals in the navigation bar. This will list your deals along with the customer and vehicle associated with the deal.

Searching Deals

Some notable searching and filtering options:

  • Closing Date
  • Deal Number
  • Customer Name
  • Vehicle
    • Year/Make/Model
    • VIN
  • Stock Number
  • Payment Type
  • Status
  • Open/Closed
  • Salesperson

We recommend reading through Finding Items to familiarize yourself with searching and filtering.

If you search by the exact Deal Number or Stock Number, a result will return regardless of the other filters. Additionally, if you hit enter after typing in the deal number or stock number and there's exactly one result, the deal will automatically be opened.

Creating Deals

There are two ways to create a deal. You can create a deal From Scratch or From a Lead.

From Scratch

To create a deal from scratch, click on the New Deal button in the navigation bar.

From here, you'll be presented with the Customer Selection dialog where you can pick a vehicle to sell and select the customer to create the deal for.

From a Lead

Once you've created a worksheet, click the Convert to Deal button at the top of the worksheet.

Details Tab

Pricing

The Pricing tab allows you to edit the deal structure and see calculated totals. This is where you should go to desk your deals and determine financial information for your sales.

Payment Worksheet

The Payment Worksheet allows you to provide an accessible breakdown of the various financing terms and deal structure items to the customer in PDF format.

Click on the Payment Worksheet button above the Deal Structure box and select between the two different deal types - Financing or Leased. After selecting the deal type you'll see the box expand to include more fields for you to fill out.

The spreadsheet-box at the top allows you to input varying financial terms for the customer, such as

  • Term
  • Cash Down
  • Interest Rate

This will automatically calculate the payment amount.

You can download and/or print the Payment Worksheet by selecting the Update & Print button in the bottom-right corner of the box.

Forms

The Forms tab allows you to print out forms and paperwork related to selling your vehicle. It also allows you to view forms, send them for digital signing, and more.

Finances / Payments

The Finances tab allows you to collect payments, view balances due, calculate commissions, and see profits on a deal.

Digital Signing

The Digital Signing tab shows you any documents that have been sent for signing.

Customers
