Working with Digital Deals

Digital Deals is a platform that allows your customers to start the purchase process and deal structuring process online.

There are two ways to initiate the digital deals process:

  1. Clicking on the "Start Purchase" button on your dealr.cloud VDP page.
  2. Generating a link inside a deal and sending it to the customer directly.

In both of these methods, the customer will be prompted to fill out their personal information, employment status, insurance information, driver's license information, any trade-in information, and more.

Once the customer fills out all the necessary information and submits it, the dealership will receive a new lead with the submitted customer and deal structure information.

Inbound Digital Deals

Customers have the ability to submit a digital deal via the VDP page of the vehicle of interest on your dealr.cloud website.

To access this, the customer navigates to the VDP page of the vehicle of interest. Here, they should see a big, blue button with the text, "Start Purchase."

Clicking this button will navigate the customer to a new page which allows them to input their personal information.

Upon completion, the dealership will receive a new lead with the submitted customer and deal structure information.

Sending Digital Deals

You also have the ability to generate a link to the digital deal and send it to the customer. To do this, you'll want to follow the standard process for creating deals. Once you have the deal created, you'll need to navigate to the individual deal screen and locate the "Digital Deals" main tab.

Clicking on this tab will bring you to the Digital Deals tab where you can create, manage, and view the digital deals submitted by the customers.

To submit a digital deal link to a customer, you'll first want to ensure you've collected and inputted the customer's SSN inside the customer profile. This is a required condition for generating a link for the customer as it secures the link and ties it to the customer and deal.

After inputting the customer's SSN inside the customer page, you should be able to generate a link to submit. To do this, navigate to the "Digital Deals" tab and you should see a blue button at the top titled, "Create Customer Link."

Clicking on this button will create a link, which you can copy and send to the customer.
